Things usually happen in the most silly ways. Yesterday, Monika proposed to Helena and me visiting the modern art Guggenheim Museum and watch the temporary exhibition of Surrealism currently held in the upper floor. Although Helena and me are used to carry out many activities, just a few of them are culture related (excepting the cinema sessions) so we inmediately agreed to such an interesting approach to the art world. Ironically, we went today while Monika, the true driver of the initiative, stayed at her home taking care of her children.
Quizá sea yo quien no sea suficientemente sensible.
Then we've been to the museum and walked along every square meter of the exhibition surface, so I let you imagine how tired we finished. the exhibition was good but not great. Of course, it worths, but I also think it could be more... don't know, more... complete. I felt it was something missing. May be I'm not sensitive enough.
¡Bravo!
At the end of the visit, Helena and me discussed about what of the shown pieces we liked the most. And the surrealist winner piece is this: a country wheelbarrow redesigned as an armchair. Brilliant!!
