I was today browsing mi old pictures trying to classify a little the horrible chaos in the data files I hold in my hard disk and I found this one I'm posting. It was taken in May 2007, the same day Sir Robin Knox-Johnston arrived to Getxo after finishing the Velux 5 Oceans race. Thanks to my friend Timothy, who was a main member of his crew, I was honoured of personally meeting him during the starting days and the day he was back we took some nice photographs aboard his sailboat "Grey power" as it was after the race.
Robin also wanted to present me a souvenir and, as he hadn't any other disposable thing at hand, he caught the whisky bottle he used to prepare his usual irish coffe, signed in the box, and give it all to me. I think it's the most valued trophy I've ever received. This whisky has been shaked by the most troubled waters in all the world and may be because of that, I still haven't dared to prepare my own irish coffe... yet.
