The tiny beach called La Cantera is one of our last refuges left. Its position in the coast reminds me somehow the Asterix's village: a small naturist place sorrounded by the foolishness typical of that civilization that, step by step, consume us. I discovered this place by coming with my parents when I was a child; the way to arrive was then a thin muddy path in the middle of a jungle. The path have become a wide track now and many people come to have a sun bath but it's still a lovely place.
It would be a perfect place to anchor the sailboat for a weekend except by 2 inconveniences:
- the area is too exposed to the waves from the northeast. It's only possible to anchor in quiet days.
- the sea bottom is rocky and the anchor can be easily hooked. It's not rare to have a diving for freeing it.
In the other hand, there are 2 clear advantages:
- The water is much cleaner than any other place in this coast
- It's a nudist beach. That means that you can swim to the beach without the damn bathsuit, drink something in the hippy bar behind the beach and enjoy a sun bath completely naked, wich is the only decent way to do it.
