Pirineos / Pyrenees

Mi familia está desperdigada por el territorio español: mi hermana vive con su marido y sus hijos en Barcelona, mi hermano vive con su mujer y su hija en las islas Canarias, yo vivo soloen Euskadi y mi padre nadie sabe muy bien dónde vive, sobre todo desde que le ha dado por recorrer el mundo a pie siguiendo las rutas más insospechada.
My family is wide spread across the spanish territory: my sister lives in Barcelona with her husband and children, my brother lives in Canary islands with his wife and daughter, I live alone in the Basque country and nobody knows where my father really lives, specially since he started to travel by walking around the world following the strangest routes.

Eso hace que no nos veamos demasiado a menudo, cosa muy atípica en las familias vascas las cuales suelen estar muy apegadas. Por ejemplo, hace 2 años que no veo a mi hermano Albar, lo que quizá pueda sonar un poco frío a pesar de que eso no quita que estemos muy unidos sentimentalmente hablando.
This makes us to not meet too often, a quite atypical thing in the basques families whose members are used to live one next to the others. For example, I met my brother Albar for the last time 2 years ago. This could sound very cold but we are really close, in a sentimental sense.

Esta Nochebuena nos reuniremos todos en casa de mi hermana Silvia, en Barcelona, así que Helena y yo hemos tomado el avión hoy por la madrugada. Esta es la bonita imagen que ofrecían los Pirineos a las 9:00 hora local (8:00 GMT).
We all will meet in my sister Silvia's, at Barcelona, for this Christmas so Helena and me have flown today early. Here it is a nice pic of the Pyrenees as viewed from the plane at 9:00 local time (8:00 GMT).
